Oh God, I need your help so much. I was told today at church that following a decision by the House of Bishops in December 2023, prayers of love and faith can be provided for same-sex couples who wish for committed, stable and faithful relationships. These prayers can be currently used in regular scheduled Sunday and weekdays services. Surely Lord this is committing sins for all who take part in this. We are an Anglican Church with Methodist once a week. Already the Methodist churches allow same-sex marriages in their churches. Are all Anglican churches and cathedrals going the same way. Heaven forbid. Oh Lord help us to stop this abomination. I am afraid this will divide the church and people will leave. Where can we go if Anglican churches, Methodist and cathedrals are allowing this to go on. The team vicar is in flavour of these changes, and has the final say on this matter. There is to be a meeting in two weeks time for people to have their say. There will be some who will not attend, cannot be bothered, This should involved all that attend our st faiths church and all.other churches that are going through the same thing.
Please Lord Jesus help us. Why did the Bishops agree to this abomination?
I believe this will break our church/church’s if this allowed to go on.
I love you Lord, please help us.
The Bible says Man and Woman, NOT man and man, woman and woman. Do not let these Bishops to destroy what is written in the Bible. Your words written for our learning. I read, mark and digest these words, help us Lord.
