Good Morning Lord… I come to you today, on the day of my son’s birth 41 years ago to ask you to consider giving my son the one gift that would be the best he ever had. Please Lord, you know Daniel, you have been there since his inception, you know his heart, his caring, his desire to help others and you now know how much in pain he has been for the last 2 years. The pain and uncaring of all the surgeons who have made his life worse and do not care any after the surgery has taken away Dan’s desire to live and his smile. Dan is depressed and angry because of all that has been taken away from him. I ask you to please, please consider giving Dan the one birthday gift that I could not ever do… please send your own son, Jesus, the Greatest Physician of the Universe, to mercifully and compassionately touch my son, Dan’s, back. With the power and light in Jesus’ hand, He can take the pain away from Dan and completely heal all that is wrong with Dan’s back. Jesus, I ask that you please strengthen Dan’s muscles, bones, and tendons. Please repair the annular tear and remove any bone formation or scar tissue that is pressing on Dan’s nerve and causing all this pain. Dan has always helped everyone and now he cannot do what he feels he should in helping them. His job is not understanding and he has worked for this same company on call all the time for the last 19 years. They are trying to get him terminated and Dan is so depressed. If you would please reach down and touch Dan and take away the causes of his pain and allow him to smile again, I will be eternally grateful. Dan is so depressed he does not want me to even say “Happy Birthday” to him as he is definitely not happy. He feels he is a waste of time and space and does not believe anyone could love him as he now is. Please Lord, Please Jesus, help my son on this his birthday. Thank you for always listening to my rantings and for allowing me to have Daniel as my son. He and his sister are the only good things I have accomplished and seeing Dan in this pain is horrible.
