Week 1
Father God, I thank you for the trials that I face because it brings me closer to you. I want to maintain this closeness on the other side of my trials. You know my innermost workings and I know that you cry with me. You are a tender-hearted Father. You are a God who feels and weeps with me. God, I repent for turning away from you, for not following your voice and choosing instead to follow the voice of the enemy. You alone are worthy of all of my hearts devotion, and I vow from this day forward to do my best to follow you in all things. Please God, speak to the heart of my husband and let him know that you are renewing my heart every day to be a better wife and rid our home of evil influences. Please bring my husband home to me. I know that my mother-in-law hears your voice. Speak to her, comfort her in her loneliness and ask her to encourage her son, Scott to return home to me. Your word says in Genesis 2:24 that a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife. In Jesus name I pray. Amen!
Week 2
Father God, I thank you for loving Scott and I. I know that you have brought us together through the covenant of marriage to be united as one with you. In Ecclesiastes 4:12 you state that if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a three fold cord is not easily broken. Lord, we repent for turning away from you and allowing our cord to be damaged. I, like Eve allowed evil to come into our home and infect our marriage. The enemy put blinders on me and I disobeyed my husband. For that I am truly and completely repentant. Our words and actions became twisted to the whim of the enemy turning us against each other and causing division in your beautiful union of marriage between Scott and I. Lord, I am pleading with you to change our hearts. Make my words gentle and sweet like music to Scott and give him a heart that forgives easily. Please renew our marriage. In Jesus powerful and amazing name I pray. Amen!
Week 3
Father God, Thank you for being the foundation of our home and marriage. I ask you to bless the marriage between Scott and I. Let us delight in each other and be in complete union and agreement with You. Open up the lines of communication between each other and you. Help us to follow you in all things, forgiving each other completely without bringing up records of past wrongs. Remind us of your sacrifice for us on the cross when we are tempted to recount each other’s sins against one another. Father, make me a wife worthy of your favorite son, Scott. Make Scott a husband worthy of your favorite daughter, Marcia. Please remind Scott that you joined with us in marriage on June 11, 2016 AD and in Matthew 19:6 you say “What God has joined together let no man put asunder.” We know it is your heart to heal marriages. I repent for any darts that I have hurled at Scott’s heart. Forgive me Lord and give Scott a loving and forgiving heart. In Jesus powerful name I pray, Amen!
Week 4
Father God, You are so wonderful and glorious! You have gone before us into the storm and calmed the waters. I thank you for the calling you have on the lives of myself and my husband to be warriors for Your Kingdom. We dedicate ourselves and our marriage to you oh Lord, for you have given us such a beautiful victory against the enemy. We know that you have designs on us to win the hearts of your beloved men and women and lead them to you. Lord, make our marriage so captivating that others ask us how they can they reach the level of love and intimacy that we share. We will point them to you Lord, because only through the blood of Jesus Christ can we love, and forgive each other so completely that all walls of protection crumble and true love reigns. Thank you Lord for restoring our hearts, for turning the hearts the enemy turned to stone into flesh once again. We love you Lord, and praise your mighty name. In Jesus name we pray. Amen!
