Feeling caught in an endless job search loop… ๐
Every day, I'm out there: dropping off resumes in person, sending emails, applying through job portals like Indeed and LinkedIn, and directly via companies' career sections. Yet, all I seem to hear is "I will pass your resume along"โand then, silence.
It feels like I'm stuck in a cycle, continuously repeating the same steps. Each time I reach what feels like the end, I find myself back at the beginning, resetting everything as if nothing happened. I start over and over again, trapped in this relentless loop.
Applying to hundreds of places, yet it feels like my applications vanish into thin air, as if Iโve never even applied. The only responses I get are rejections: "Not selected," "We regret to inform you…"
Every lead turns out to be a dead end, and every assurance just another empty promise.
In the shadows of my job search, I find myself trapped in a loop, much like the eerie cycles of the TV series "Dark." Each day feels like a replay of the last: I submit resumes, craft personalized emails, scour job portals like Indeed and LinkedIn, and navigate the career sections of countless company websites. And yet, the response is invariably the same, "I will pass your resume along." Silence follows.
This cycle repeats endlessly. With every application, I feel like I'm inching towards a resolution, only to be swept back to the starting line, with no progress made and no end in sight. It's as if my efforts are swallowed by a black hole, leaving no trace.
Amid this recurring darkness, I'm desperately seeking a glimmer of lightโa way out of this perpetual loop.
I want to find a job, attend interviews, and get hired. I want employers to offer me a position after the interview process.
